Tank resiting and decommissioning

County Pumps are members of professional industry bodies APEA (Association for Petroleum and Explosives Administration) and PEIMF (Petroleum Equipment Installers and Manufacturers Federation), with SafeContractor accreditation. County Pumps are registered Waste Carriers and ensure all advice is offered to the full compliance with the latest Petroleum, Health and Safety, EA Guidelines and DEFRA Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations. All engineers are directly employed and certified CSCS cardholders.

Above Ground Tanks & Pumps:

  • Bottoming out and cleaning of existing tanks, with preparation for uplifting and moving to a new location.
  • Resiting and/or removal of fuel pumps and capping off the associated fuel lines.
  • Health check on an existing installation with the supply of new equipment to bring up to current standards where required.
  • Bottoming out and cleaning for temporary / permanent decommissioning.
  • Tanks plugged and capped left for safe storage, resiting, removal and/or disposal.
  • Below Ground Tanks & Associated Dispensers:
  • Removal of fuel pumps and capping off the associated fuel lines.
  • Bottoming out and cleaning of storage tanks to leave in safe condition.
  • Infill of existing tanks using industry approved hard foam options, based on Petroleum and
  • Environmental Agency specification, tank product and capacity.
