Decommissioning
We can carry out the safe removal and/or decommissioning of above and below ground petrol, diesel and gas oil fuel installations to suit particular customer requirements.
Above Ground Tanks & Associated Dispensers:
Removal of fuel pumps and capping off the associated fuel lines.
Bottoming out and cleaning of storage tanks, with all residual fuel and sludge removed and disposed at an approved site.
Tanks plugged and capped for storage, resiting, removal and/or disposal.
Below Ground Tanks & Associated Dispensers:
Removal of fuel pumps and capping off the associated fuel lines.
Bottoming out and cleaning of storage tanks, with all residual fuel and sludge removed and disposed at an approved site.
Infill tanks using RG22 hard foam or slurry concrete, depending on Petroleum and Environmental Agency specification, product and capacity.
Temporary decommissioning can also be arranged if required.
